COMMON SYMPTONS & FAULT CODES DTC
- – Key does not turn in the ignition
- – The steering remains in locked position when the key is inserted
- – The ignition key turns, however there is no ignition, no lights illuminate
- – The steering lock is off with no key in the ignition
- – The ignition/starting of the vehicle is temperamental – Sometimes works, Sometimes Cannot start
The following Diagnostic Trouble codes may be stored in the vehicle
- – A22449 – The electronic ignition lock has a malfunction. There is an internal electrical fault
- – A25407 – The electric steering lock has a malfunction. There is a mechanical fault
- – A25408 – The electric steering lock malfunction. There is a signal fault or the message is faulty
- – A25409 – The electric steering lock has a malfunction. There is a component fault
- – A25464 – The electric steering lock has a malfunction. There is an implausible signal
All you need to do is send your ignition barrel (where you insert the key), The ELV (steering lock module) and 1 working key

Note: If your steering is locked, the emulator will not unlock the steering, you MUST first have the steering in the unlocked position or manually release it. Using the emulator the steering will not lock – This function is disabled – The emulator is completely safe and does not compromise your vehicle security as it is cryptographically married to your Ignition lock barrel (EZS | EIS)
